Pros: Good for kids, snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, camping. Great place to find coral. Picnic tables, clean bathrooms, outdoor showers.
Cons: Accessibility. You must be able to climb down some rocks and walk up a moderately steep path to get to the old bridge. Beach is rocky not soft sand.

What is it?:
State park with a sandy beach (swimmable) that is about an hour north of Key West, Florida. It is directly on the road down to Key West so it is a great place to stop for lunch or a snack. Changing rooms and clean bathrooms available. The water is teal and the views gorgeous.

Hours:
8AM to Sundown – 365 days a year.

Cost:
$8.50 per vehicle up to 8 people.

Parking:
Onsite. Free.
