Art Louisiana Museum New Orleans Types of Places United States A - M

New Orleans Museum of Art – New Orleans, LA

What is it?:
An art museum containing classic and contemporary art, along with a sculpture garden, within City Park.

Bottom line:

GO! – Worth the cost of entry. The art work is interesting and the sculpture garden a lovely place to visit particularly when it’s in bloom. Don’t miss the tulips across the street if you’re visiting in early-mid March.

Overall:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Pros: Centrally located with several things to do should you finish up with the art museum early on. Various styles of art.
Cons: Not quite as large and diverse as some other major cities but I’m really nit-picking here.
